Content policy
This is a plain-language template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review and adapt it to your company, your jurisdiction and your payment and model providers before launch.
Why this exists
Gireta is for creating. These rules keep it safe for the people who use it and the people who appear in what gets made. They apply to prompts, uploads and outputs.
Not allowed
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises minors. We report it to the relevant authorities.
- Sexual or intimate imagery of a real person without their consent.
- Content that impersonates a real person to deceive, including fake endorsements, fake news footage and political disinformation.
- Harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people based on who they are.
- Instructions or imagery meant to help someone cause serious harm, such as weapons or self-harm.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including using someone else's artwork, logo or likeness as your own.
- Using the service to spam, scam, or get around its limits and safety systems.
Real people
You can make content with your own likeness, or with someone else's when you have their permission. Do not present AI content as real footage of an event that did not happen.
Labelling
If you publish AI-generated content where people could mistake it for real, label it as AI-generated. Some platforms and countries require this.
Enforcement
Some prompts and outputs are checked automatically. We may block a generation, remove content, or suspend an account that breaks this policy. Serious or repeated violations lead to a permanent ban.
