Image generation
Which image model should I start with?
Nano Banana 2 is the default because it is fast and follows prompts closely. Switch to Nano Banana Pro or GPT Image 2 for final shots, or when you need readable text in the image.
How do I get sharper results?
Pick 2K or 4K in settings, describe the light and the camera (for example soft window light, 85mm, shallow depth of field), and add one reference photo when the subject must stay consistent.
Can I edit a photo instead of starting from scratch?
Yes. Upload the photo with the plus button and describe the change, for example keep the product the same and replace the background with a marble counter.
What aspect ratios can I use?
Square, portrait and landscape ratios from 9:16 to 16:9. The options change with the model you pick, and only supported ratios are shown.
Why does the same prompt give different results?
Every run starts from new random noise. Generate a few variations and keep the best, or reuse a reference image to pin down the look.
Video generation
How long can a video be?
It depends on the model. Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 go up to 30 seconds in one take, and others top out at 10 to 15 seconds. The duration menu only shows lengths the model supports.
Can I animate a still image?
Yes. Switch to Video, upload the image and describe the motion. Kling 3.0 Pro is a good pick for realistic movement from a photo.
Do videos come with sound?
Models marked Sound can add synced audio. Turn it off in the settings row if you plan to add your own music in the editor.
Why is video charged per second?
Longer and higher resolution clips take more compute, so the price scales with both. The exact cost is shown on the Generate button before you start.
Credits and billing
Do credits expire?
No. Plan credits, packs and top ups stay on your balance until you use them, even after you cancel.
What happens when a generation fails?
Every credit for it goes straight back to your balance. You never pay for a result you did not get.
How much is one credit worth?
Top ups are 300 credits per dollar. Plans work out cheaper per credit, and yearly billing saves up to half compared with monthly.
Can I buy credits without a plan?
Yes, one-time packs work on any account. Custom top up amounts are available once you have a plan.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from your account. Your plan stops renewing and the credits you already have stay yours.
Getting started
What is Gireta?
One studio with 38 image, video and audio models behind a single prompt box and one credit balance.
Is it free to try?
Yes. New accounts get 60 credits, enough for a first image, with no card needed.
Do I need design or editing skills?
No. Start from a template or a plain sentence, then adjust. The model menu explains what each model is best at.
Templates and prompts
How do templates work?
A template is a tested prompt with a matching model and settings. Open one, swap in your own photo or product, and generate.
Can I change a template's prompt?
Yes. It is loaded into the prompt box, so you can edit any part of it before you generate.
Where do the prompt roundups come from?
Our team writes and tests them. Each one is a starting point you can copy and adapt.
Audio and music
What can the audio models make?
There are 6 audio models for natural voiceovers, full songs with vocals and instrumentals.
Can I use the music in my videos?
Yes. Download it, or add your own sound in the clip editor.
Clip editor
How do I open the editor?
From the account menu choose Clip editor, then start from one of your generated videos or upload your own.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Cmd or Ctrl Z undoes and Shift adds redo. Every edit is saved as you go.
How do I export?
Press Export. The MP4 is made in your browser, so it works without waiting in a queue.
What does the assistant do?
Ask for an edit in plain words, such as cut it to 15 seconds or add a hook. It edits your clip and checks it against the brief.
Your content and rights
Can I use what I make commercially?
Yes, on any plan or pack, including ads, product pages and client work.
Do you train models on my uploads?
No. Your uploads and results are only used to run the service for you.
What am I not allowed to make?
The content policy has the full list. In short: nothing illegal, no sexual content involving minors or real people without consent, no deceptive deepfakes, and nothing that infringes other people's rights.
Account and sign in
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we send a six digit code, or continue with Google. There is no password to remember.
I did not get my code
Check spam, then request a new one. Codes expire after 10 minutes, and you can ask for a few each quarter hour.
Where is my credit history?
Your account page lists every credit added and spent, grouped by day.
API and developers
Is there an API?
Yes. Create a key on the developers page and call the same models from your own code, on the same credit balance.
How do I avoid double charges on retries?
Send an Idempotency-Key header. A repeated request with the same key returns the original job instead of starting a new one.
What are the limits?
120 requests and 30 new jobs a minute per account. Contact us if you need more.
Still stuck?
Write to us and a person will reply, usually within a day.
