UGC style video ads without a creator shoot
Advertising · Sep 18, 2026 · 6 min read
User generated content style ads work because they feel unpolished and personal. The same qualities are what you need to describe when you generate one.
What makes it feel real
- Handheld camera with slight natural shake.
- Ordinary settings: a kitchen, a car, a bedroom with daylight.
- Direct eye contact and a person holding the product close to the lens.
- Casual clothes and imperfect hair, not a studio look.
A template
"Handheld selfie video of [who] in [place], holding [product] up to the camera and excitedly explaining [one benefit]. Natural window light, casual, authentic, vertical 9:16."
Be honest
Do not present a generated person as a real customer with a real testimonial. Label the ad as AI-generated where required, and never imitate a real creator or public figure without permission.
