In short
- Caption every word, one to three words at a time, in a bold sans serif font.
- Use a high contrast colour with an outline or shadow so captions read on any footage.
- Place captions in the middle third, above the app's bottom controls.

- Bold sans serif, large enough to read at arm's length
- White or yellow with a black outline
- Highlight the key word in each line
- No more than two lines on screen
